Just finish watching Playful Kiss aka Mischievous kiss aka Naughty Kiss ~ K-drama .
Happy ending :) Mummy is addicted to this drama . lol always accuse me of not waiting for her to watch the drama together .
Went for bowling & pool with E & S today at Safra .
haix~ don't know what is wrong with me , the ball went into the gutter every time I bowl , just like north pole attracts to south pole . Same for pool , but this time it is the opposite , the ball refuse to go into the hole .

A Duo of Italian Delicacies | Go to post ➜
Went for a cooking demo class at FengShan CC today by Chef Diego Martinelli who works at The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore & Chef Michele Pavanello who works at OTTO Ristorante in the Red Dot Traffic Building .
Learnt to cook the basic risotto followed by various risottos such as Risotto Alla Milanese ( Saffron Risotto ) , Risotto with Radicchio ( Italian Red Cabbage Risotto ) and lastly Risotto with bacon and celery leaves from Chef Diego .
From Chef Michele we have Bufala al Cucchiaio con Gamberi e Pancetta Croccante ( Cream of buffalo milk mozzarella cheese with live prawns and crispy bacon ) , sounds very long but super easy to do .
Pissed off with some mid-age ladies or should I say mid-age modern housewives who kept on asking rather same but different questions ... ok ~ same questions with a little twist.
The Chef was cooking some prawns in the pan and I find it so weird that some mid-age guy took photos of the prawns . I mean , prawns only what ~ prawns are prawns , they aren't celebrities or whatsoever .
To me , I believe that learning how to do the basic is important & enough . After that , whatever ingredients you want to add in just play by taste . There is no hard and fast rule in cooking . Just like what Chef Micheal Smith from 'Chef at home - TLC' said : The best recipe is cooking without a recipe!
Some toot questions they asked which I personally feel that it is common sense :
- When do you know at which point to stop the heat from over cooking the risotto ? ( Duh~ of course to take off the heat when the risotto grain is cooked and edible or what Chefs call it 'al dente' )
- Can I cook my risotto with meat or seafood ? ( Duh~ risotto is a rice dish , don't you eat fish / chicken / pork porridge or plain rice with meat / vegetables / seafood ? Take pasta for an example , there is meat / vegetables / seafood pasta the only difference is the sauce base . )
- Do you add onions to your seafood risotto ? ( -.- lady , are you trying to woo the Italian Chef with your stupid question ? I think he will turn you down . Common sense again , it is personal preference if you like the dish to have or be strong in onion / garlic / herbs / etc . )
Of course there are fun parts during the 3 hrs demo cooking course . Chef Michele is the joker chef . One question came up : Can I use the rice cooker to cook risotto ? The whole class burst into laughter . In the end , Chef Michele decided to try using the rice cooker to cook the risotto and TA-DA it worked ! The texture is some what different but almost similar because there is no control when using the rice cooker to cook the risotto .
I'm so glad that I'm not the youngest among the group . *phew* Otherwise I'll be mad at my mum for pulling me along to attend the cooking demo . HaHa , there was another young boy , probably primary 4 or 5 lol.

My brother can be so sweet yet a pain in the ass most of the time .
Sweet times :
Buying chocolates , perfume , etc
The thought of buying handbags for the ladies in the house .
Offering to carry heavy bags .
Offering to buy supper .
etc
But sweet things don't last long , sigh ...
The not so sweet times :
Didn't help me to wash the dishes , hang the laundry , etc
Irritating when he doesn't have anything to do .
Watching TV while I'm watching drama on my laptop in the living room .
An hour later , my supper is still not home yet .

Recently , I have just finish watching Comrades aka Legend of the Patriot.
It is about ...
The war between North & South Korea ,
Not really Democratic & definitely there is Communism ,
A regiment of the South Korean Army ,
A battalion of that particular regiment SKA ,
A particular platoon ,
A particular squad ,
A soldier's experience during war ,
The ups and downs of war ,
Brotherhood ,
Humanity ,
Survival ,
Death ,
And lastly romance .
If I ever get to watch this drama again , I think I will still shed tears despite watching it already .
If you follow closely with the drama , you can actually cry with them . LOL . Yar seriously , whenever they cry I will cry . Especially the last episode , I thought it will be a happy ending . But little did I know that the last episode was a killer bomb ! cry & cry .
Man ~ I don't when I have become a softy .
No , actually it is because of the actors' intensity when they produce the drama .
Kudos to all the actors & actresses in the drama .

acute gastric flu | Go to post ➜
What is your worst experience while travelling ?
Being robbed off all your cash ? Bash up by some street gangsters ? Being kidnapped ? etc...
Came back from Genting & Malacca recently on Sunday , 3rd OCT.
How unlucky am I to find myself vomiting throughout the day from morning till night at the very last day of my trip .
Whatever I consumed even the small vomit tablet , it simply came out 15 mins later as some greenish disgusting bitter liquid - ewww . Green ? wth ? Seriously Green ? Ewww ~
How ironic that I'm able to eat a tasty chocolate donut for lunch , kept it down without puking.
Dinner was a small portion of horfan but it was the same , this time round , it came out as brownish substance 15 mins later .
The freaking bus ride back to S'pore didn't make it much better .
As the engine roars to start , the whole bus , including the seats were quivering . Hearing the old noisy engine at work and an irritating uncouth woman taking loudly , choking on water without covering her mouth , made it all the more difficult to sleep .
All I need was peace and tranquillity to smooth my throbbing headache due to high fever.
Back home by 7+pm going 8pm .Initially I turned down the idea of visiting the doctor , I preferred to cure the fever and the vomiting naturally . However , my grandmother persuaded me . How can I say no to an elder ? In the end , I headed for my family doctor across the street . It turned out that I'm had acute gastric flu , medical term for it is gastroenteritis.
Man ~ all because of this flu , I had to miss out on those delicious nyonya kuihs & dishes .
