What did I buy from my Europe trip ? | Go to post ➜

Here's what I bought from my Europe trip. 

A bag of chocolate , assorted dried fruits and coffee from H.Schwarzenbach - Zurich. 

The strong and robust coffee aroma attracted my attention when I was waiting for my dad outside a watch shop. There are lots of nice things to buy in this shop. They have their own coffeeshop / cafe under the same name as well !

Watches 

The infamous cow bells from Switzerland.

 

A basket full of super-mart chocolates from Switzerland, Germany and Brussels. 

Corne 1932 Chocolatier  from Brussels

The lady recommended the above cherry chocolate.

This box of chocolate cost me around €12. 

Verdict :  One hell of a good bomb ! 

The chocolate shell was hard [ as expected to hold the liquor ] 

The cherry inside tasted like canned cherries , very intense cherry flavour. 

Liqour flowed out the moment the chocolate shell cracked.

Chocolaterie Manneken Pis 

Hmm ~ the chocolate which they gave me taste at their shop tasted different from the ones I tasted.

But , nonetheless , these pralines tasted relatively good.

BTW , you cant choose the pralines from this shop. 

So ~ fussy chocolate eaters - Beware !

Christine Ferber jams from Paris - Galeries Lafayette 

I like the Gelee de Framboises d'Alsace et petales de roses. It is very fragrant.

One whole bag of mini Eiffel Tower key chains - €4 for 50 pieces (bronze/silver/gold)

Macarons from Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport DFS. 

I like the strawberry and chocolate macarons. 

Just look at those teeth marks !

11 Days In Europe !

~ Day 10 -  31 March 2012 ~

After breakfast , we took a cab to the airport from our hotel - Mercure Massy.

The cab fare was about €150 ! Super Duper Expensive !  Well , this reflects the standard of living in Europe. 

~ Day 11 -  1 April 2012 ~ 

On the way back to Singapore. Touched down on 1 Apr at 6.40am (GMT +8)

Taking up a tour package is always so rush ~

mf ... I am definitely going back to Paris to take a better picture ! *hmpf*

While I was there , only 1 lift was working ( instead of 3 lifts ) due to technical failure.

Come on man , please spend more on maintenance !  

Waiting time was about 1.5 to 2 hours.

 This was my late lunch and early dinner at Galeries Lafayette.
[ Awesome place to shop for all your branded goods just a few steps away ! ]  

I love the lentils and I think that it is puy lentils ? Anyway , it was delicious. 

Bateaux Mouches - River cruise 

Passed by many bridges. 

There is a bridge with lots of locks too ! Something similar to Nam San Tower in Seoul. 

La Dame De Fer lights up. 

Tip : Buy Les Cars Rouges tickets for a easier way to travel in Paris. Tickets cost lest than €30 per person for 2 days ! You can purchase them online as well.
