Beijing | Go to post ➜
Woohoo ~ I am back from Beijing =)
so happy to be in the warm climate again .
Beijing's weather was really terrible for me , cold and dry , even colder when the chill wind blows .
The lowest temp was negative 10 to 20 degree celsius .
Fingers and toes were numb most of the time , painful to breathe in the cold air .
Ahh ~ but it was a good experience for me :)
Now I know , to a certain degree , the feeling of the people who died in the cold .
China had changed drastically and is still improving , moving forward to greater heights .
The roads are wide smooth and clean .
Toilets are clean and with doors .
English speaking staff in major areas . There is something which I do not understand . How can the MacDonald staff at the airport do not understand english while the MacDonald staff at the bullet train station outlet understand and can speak english . Haix ~
Internet at Beijing's airport is easy to connect , the speed is relatively fast and good . Unlike S'pore , it 's complicated to access the internet at the airport .
Red man or Green man , the vehicles continue to move on . Zebra crossing is useless .
Citizens are friendly , loud and rough .
However , poverty remains , beggars loiter around in the cold , begging for money . One of them pulled my winter jacket asking me to sympathise for them (beggars) . These people can do anything to have cash , including carrying their young child out in the cold to beg . I pity the kiddo . But this is life dude ~
