11 Days In Europe !
~ Day 4 - 25 March 2012 ~
Lucerne - City Hotel is terrible. Thin pillows , old room , noises for the road.
The worst hotel I stayed during my 11 days in Europe.
However the location is surrounded by the magnificent Swiss Alps.

Head back to the car park and the tour drove us to Bern.
The 1st stop : Rose Garden which gives a bird's eye view of the city structure.
The locals were having picnic , playing games , relaxing & chatting. I admire their way of life , something which I do not get to see in S'pore.
Just before entering the city center , stop by the iconic bear pit of Bern.
Tiles with names craved on it.
You can take some good photos of the city along the bear pit too !
Take a leisure walk in the old town to view the 16th century clock tower.
Along the way , you will see cellar doors just like the above picture.
The tour drove us to Interlaken (west). Checked into City Oberland hotel and that is the view from my room. Yet again the Swiss Alps !
Imagine having water from the Swiss Alps everyday for bathing , washing , drinking , etc (even if it is not the water from the Swiss Alps , I would still believe that it comes from the Swiss Alps.)
Cream Chicken with Grated Potato
Dinner was at Bebbis , just a short walk down from the hotel.
Food was average however the manager was very entertaining.
I took a stroll after dinner and found a cute wooden bicycle for children on the display shelf of a shop. However , the bicycle is without pedals ? The 1st time I saw a young girl with this type of bicycle was at the rose garden.
