11 Days In Europe !
~ Day 7 - 28 March 2012 ~
After breakfast , we hit the road to Netherlands - Amsterdam.
Pit stop at Marche.
Bitburger beer bought from the supermarket last night.
See that bread over there ? It was breakfast roll from the hotel.
The bill.
Oh they sell Movenpick ice cream here too !
I tried the raspberry and white chocolate chip ice cream on the cone.
Although it was imported from Switzerland , it was 2 times cheaper than the one I had at Mt Titlis !
So after lunch , we hit the road and continue our way to Amsterdam.
1st stop at Amsterdam : Coster Diamonds
The smallest xx ( I can't remember ) number of cuts. Btw , all of them are brilliant cut.
From left to right : Heart cut , Princess cut , the other 3 are brilliant cut of descending carats.
Left : Black Diamond , Brilliant Cut.
Right : Colored Diamond ( Cognac ) , Pear Cut.
Mon pere a achete le diamant coupe la poire cognac pour moi et en fait un pendentif.
Next up is Amsterdam river cruise.
Quacks again ~ This time they are looovverss =)
Oh look ! That friendly local waved at me !
The iconic boat houses of Amsterdam.
After the river cruise , the local tour guide ( ok , he's not a local but he stayed in Amsterdam for quite a few years already ) suggested to take a walk at the red light district. Strictly no photography allowed otherwise those pimps will come after you. Well basically , the prostitutes were clad only in their undergarment and stood / posed behind the display windows. Beside those services , there are dirty shows as well , patrons have to buy the entrance ticket to watch it.
In Amsterdam , the government allows the citizen to purchase weed.However, it has to be consumed on the premise ( eg : a cafe ).
