7 Days in China !
~ Day 4 - 11 September 2012 ~
Start of Guilin tour !
Lousy breakfast from the hotel.
The local guide told us that the above picture is the Huang Fu Pu. But later I found out that it is actually Duxiu Feng or Solitary Beauty Peak in English.
Zhong Shan Bu Si The guy holding the yellow flag is the Duxiu Feng's guide. He is super passionate about telling us the Chinese history. Unfortunately, my Chinese is half-baked. Anyway, he is a great guy. The tourism industry needs people like him!
I did not climb up this ... piece of rock .
Chinese pavilion
Zhong Shan Chang Zai . Zhong Shan here and Zhong Shan there. Not sure if the Zhong Shan means SunZhongShan ?
Chinese characters on that piece of rock.
The guide told us that the sentence with the red mark describes Guilin specifically .
No idea what is this Chinese character but there is historical meaning behind it.

I am not sure what tree is this. Banyan maybe ? But it looks magnificent.

Imitation San Francisco bridge
Chinese fir trees in water
The twin pagodas - the sun tower & the moon tower.Visiting the river during the day time, you will see the original plain stuff. At night, neon lights brightens the river in green, yellow, blue and red.
Chinese calligraphy painter
Supper ~ again the SGD 1 beer but different brand.
Tian Ji - frog quite delicious actually !
