7 Days in China !
~ Day 5 - 12 September 2012 ~
2nd day of Guilin tour !
Breakfast outside the hotel.
This was so much better.
Moreover, it cost RMB3.5 for regular bowl.
And that is only 0.7cents in SGD!
Thick beehoon
Pork and beef slices
Fried crunchy soya beans
A spoon of chopped spring onions
And lastly a hard boiled egg taken from the hotel.
Boat ride along the Li River - Yangshou.The RMB20 note scenery is is found here !
But it is a pity that I didn't get a shot of it.
Partly because I don't understand what the tour guide said.
And secondly, when I understood what she said, majority of the China people are already standing on the front deck ! No space for me =(

Luckily it didn't rain.
I have no idea where is this place.
But it was another boat ride.
Human-powered bamboo raft ride.
Ah-Jie
Ah-Ge
Tough job trying to earn our money.
Especially when his passengers do not engage in water fights.
He can't rent out his water "guns" (bottom left of the above picture)
Spot the difference :)
The big banyan tree at Yangshou Gaotian Village.

Bend but do not break
We should learn from them !

The Shangri-la
Impression of Lui San Jie Everyone in China would say that it is good.But to me, just so-so because it made me sleepy.
RMB220 / SGD44 for that show is quite expensive. Reasons being :
- Performance was too far from the audience.
- Characters were too small to see
- No idea what the show is about = Boring !
- Chinese songs used in the show aren't pleasant to my ears. Not that I don't listen to Chinese songs.
- Although it was only an hour or an hour and half, I found the show too long.
But, the lighting, mountainous background (made use of the geographical landscape) and the effort of the villagers are impressive.
Just a short video. Resolution is not clear cause I took it with a camera and not with a video cam.
